Caring for our employees – our most important mission

At SRC the education and training of our employees is an area to which we give particular attention. We believe strongly that a staff equipped with the latest knowledge is the true foundation upon which the reputation and professionalism of the company rests and can be enhanced.

In 2004 we received a TOP 10 – Educational Management award from the independent SOFOS. The award confirms that SRC

• devotes a great deal of attention to the direct link between education and business strategies and
• to the systematic gathering of new knowledge
• allows employees to test and disseminate their newly acquired knowledge
• encourages the acquisition and transmission of knowledge
• encourages all its employees to undertake education and training

The SOFOS award is given as part of the Educational Management conference organised by the GV Izobraževanje Company.
The expert commission placed SRC among the top ten companies in Slovenia investing the most in its employees, on the basis of the following criteria:

• average percentage of income that the company sets aside for the education and training of its employees,
• average percentage of employees involved in education and training
• average number of hours of education and training per employee
• average number of in-house trainers and educators
• measurement of the quality of implementation of education and training programmes

When drawing up their list of ten companies, the expert commission also used qualitative responses, where it looked at the way in which education and training were linked to the strategic goals of the company, new education and training projects or innovations in the area of education management, and the investments made by the company in educating and training the wider social environment.

In independent research conducted in 2004 by Mojedelo.com from among more than 600 Slovenian IT professionals, SRC was identified as the second most desirable ITC employer overall and enjoyed the highest reputation among all Slovenian ITC companies.
