SRC implemented first MIIM™ Data Center in the Central and SE Europe

SRC Infonet decided to upgrade their Data Center, due to an increased demand for higher capacity and capability. The increased demand is a consequence of offering their clients, beside data integrity, also hosting and archiving.

Both, the offerer and the subscriber agreed that a MIIM™ implementation of this sort in the region of Central and SE Europe, would assist in both the promotion of the product via working demonstrations for future projects and clients, as well as presentating SRC Infonet as a leader in business technology uptake and simplify their operations through more secure and efficient processes.

Christophe Hinet, part of the Advanced Solutions team was there to support  MIIM™ training and installation. He commented that the “...installation was smooth and seamless. The IT team at SRC Infonet had demonstrated working knowledge of the network and their leadership in implementing advanced technologies was apparent”.

Since the MIIM™ implementation, IT managers from SRC Infonet indicated a significant improvement in the security of the Data Centre connectivity, thus resulting in a positive uplift in the services they offer to clients. Subsequently, SRC Infonet's IT team is able to monitor connectivity levels in their Data Centre continuously and independently on all location, where they have access to complete visibility of the physical layer and other attached devices.
