Communications engineering Implementation
Ensures reliable and secure communication
There are four steps in the implementation of the communications engineering service.
Analysis
Analysis of the existing communication infrastructure,
if there is one, and analysis of business and technical
requirements
for building a new or upgrading the existing communication
infrastructure represent the phase one. Consulting and conceptual design of the projects On the basis of the analytical data gathered we undertake
designing a solution; usually the result in this phase
is a conceptual solution. In the conceptual design we
define the final scope of the project, with its main
functional
modules, and roughly estimate the value of the investment. Implementation The more complex projects in telecommunications, with structured
wiring and computer communications, require project documentation
(implementation project, construction works project)
which is prepared on the basis of the results of the
analysis
and conceptual design. Less complex projects require
only an implementation or introduction plan. The implementation
then runs according to the project documentation. In
all
phases special attention is paid to the prevention of
disturbance of the normal flow of regular business processes. Training System
administrators training is most effective with a combination
of conventional training, taking place at
SRC's training
centre or on the manufacturer's premises, and the administrator's
active participation in project implementation. Trainees
acquire professional competence in the areas of their
special interest in carefully organised courses and workshops,
and they can test these skills in our laboratory.
Maintenance and technical assistance After the implementation of the project, maintenance and
technical assistance are available as an additional service,
including:
- availability at the client's location of our technical
support experts who can be reached by phone or e-mail
- system software upgrades and functionality improvement
- communication equipment configuration changes
- consultation about further development of the
system
