Payroll calculations - OPLA Implementation
Business solution for outsourcing of payroll calculations
We provide implementation of OPLA services (accounting
of wages and other contract-based incomes) in the form of
a project.
- First of all we make a thorough appraisal of the situation,
and based on the results we formulate an analysis and draw
up a project plan for the transition procedure.
- Then follows the phase of actual start-up.
- Once this phase is successfully concluded, we begin regular
monthly accounting of wages and other employment-based or
contract-based incomes.

Adaptability
of the application
Wage accounting requires a string of various input data
necessary for accounting and paying wages. In the start-up
phase we formulate interfaces that enable automatic data transfer
from other client records. Just as the interfaces allow the
data transfer into the OPLA application, they also enable
the data transfer in the opposite direction.
The reports that result from the wage accounting are transferred
by means of the interfaces to other databases, such as SAP,
Navision (the journal in the main accounts book).
The interfaces enable automation of data transfer, and in
this way rationalisation of working time owing to the
elimination of time-consuming manual input.
Back up location
The sensitivity of wage accounting and associated processes
demand the unimpeded performance of accounting. And in order
for accounting work to be truly unimpeded, at SRC we have
protected ourselves by providing an additional parallel system
at a back up location. This system operates simultaneously
with the system at the primary location, and if there is any
failure at the primary location, accounting continues unimpeded
at the back up location.
The parallel system at the back up location is situated more
than 50 km away from the primary location, and functions as
a back up system of accounting and archival documentation
base, ensuring the fault-free performance of our services.
We have also provided for even greater security through the
daily security copying of applications and databases onto
security tapes.
