e-Notaries
The
Electronic Commerce and Electronic Signature Act (ZEPEP),
which was passed on 1 September 2000, makes electronic signatures
equal to classic signatures, and constitutes a legal basis
for the implementation of electronic services. Legal and
natural persons must obtain digital certificates for the
introduction of a digital signature to be used in electronic
business transactions; in Slovenia these certificates may
be obtained from certificate authority SIGEN-CA.
