e-Vem

Basic functionality of the e-VEM solution

In addition to being a means for future self-employed persons to register in the Business Register of Slovenia, the portal also makes it possible to register in the tax register, submit the necessary tax information to the Tax Administration of the Republic of Slovenia and register a self-employed person and his or her dependents up to the age of 18 in the health insurance plan of the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia. Data is also submitted directly to the Slovenian Pension and Disability Insurance Institute, the Employment Service of Slovenia and the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia. Currently self-employed persons can use the portal – either independently via the Web or with the assistance of an advisor – to update their information in the Business Register of Slovenia or request the deletion of their business. They can also use it to enter their dependents up to the age of 18 in the health insurance plan of the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia.
