E-services – electronic public administration services

An important upgrade of the e-Government portal is the e-services subportal, which provides users with a central location for forms and electronic applications that public administration (and later public sector) bodies offer users of the e-Government portal.

All forms are classified according to their respective services on the life events portal. The required forms can be accessed directly through the portal or via life events, and applications can be searched according to different parameters – title, language, life events, publisher, etc.

When a user selects a payable form, payment can be executed electronically. The kind of payment available depends on whether the recipient is included in an e-payments system that allows electronic payment.

Users who submit applications to institutions through the portal can choose to have the return documents sent electronically. To use this feature, a user needs to have a secure e-mailbox where the document can be sent by the appropriate institution.

The solution is integrated with various systems, including the Central Register of Population, the Register of Spatial Units, the Register of Vehicles and Vehicle Documents, the Register of Insurance, as well as the Post of Slovenia, the online payments module and the SPIS backoffice system.

Within the framework of the portal we have also implemented a solution that enables users to extend the validity of certificates of registration for vehicles, both those with a valid roadworthiness certificate and those that do not need one.
