This Privacy Policy describes our practices with respect to information about service users collected through various services, such as websites, company products and other services within the scope of the company’s activities (collectively referred to as „company services“ or „services“).

This policy does not apply to personal data processed within the company’s products themselves.

The Privacy Policy describes SRC’s practices regarding the management of non-personal (anonymous) data (e.g. the date and time of each visit, the hardware platform of your device, operating system, etc.) and also regarding the collection and use of personal data (i.e. data relating to a specific or identifiable person) by the company.

By using the company’s services, you agree to the general terms of this Privacy Policy.

Data collection takes place in the following ways:

  • Non-personal data: we automatically collect device data or other log data when you use our services;
  • Personal data: we collect data if you explicitly provide it to us.

Providing personal data is not a condition for using the company’s services. Until you provide us with your personal data (such as your name and surname, email address, etc.), all data that we automatically collect when you use our services is anonymous data and we cannot and do not identify the user.

SRC products

If you leave your email address at the login box on a website with a product description that supports this type of login box for storing email addresses, we will store it in a user database and pair it with the data collected in the previous point. Products that collect personal data that are used with the data collected in the previous point are:

  • Clinicall and
  • Vrstomat.

When you enter your email address, the information system will automatically read and transmit the following data:

  • user type (e.g. doctor or nurse or administrative staff or IT staff or management),
  • software,
  • your institution name,
  • your software username,
  • your first and last name (if recorded in the database of the healthcare institution where the software runs).

Use and transmission

We collect data to provide users with better services, which includes providing user support, responding to inquiries, improving the overall user experience on our websites, automatically adapting the display to detected hardware, providing content that you find interesting and relevant, including advertising and marketing messages, and measuring and improving the company’s services. In order to offer you our content that is more interesting or relevant to you, we use data collected from or about you to predict or infer which areas of interest you may have.

Use of device data and other log data

We use the collected data, which forms a unique device fingerprint, to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services. This means that we can adapt the content and display of the website to you or the devices you use to access our services, making the most of the capabilities of different devices and tailoring our services to your needs and requirements.

Use of email addresses

For direct marketing purposes, SRC uses only personal data for which you have given prior consent for direct marketing. Data collected from publicly available sources is used exclusively in accordance with legal restrictions.

For the purposes of direct marketing of its services, SRC occasionally sends promotional messages or notifications related to the company’s services to customers. If you indicate that you want to receive our newsletter, you will be included in the appropriate group. If you no longer wish to receive notifications, you can change your settings. We record all opening of websites from received promotional messages and clicks in the newsletter email. If you click on a link in the email, we record the event accordingly and mark which channel (source of the click, e.g. email campaign) it originates from, so that we can link the campaign to your email address.

Once your email address is recorded in our database, we may forward it to third-party connected services that enable social network queries without additional data (only and exclusively the email address). If such services, based on a query that includes only your email address, find your profiles on social or communication networks (e.g. Facebook, Foursquare, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Skype, Twitter, and in the future also others), we will link your profiles on these networks to your email address and may monitor publicly accessible (!) posts that you create on these networks. If such services, based on a query from the domain of your email address (e.g. @podjetje.si), can obtain information about your company, we will also link this information (company name, your position in the company, address, postcode and city, country) to your email address.

Push messages

If you give your explicit consent to receive push notifications on our website (‘allow’), we will include your device’s browser (mobile or desktop) in a group with the push notification service provider via the OneSignal platform. Information about your device, which does not include personal data (i.e. not your email address), will be stored in the OneSignal provider’s database for the purpose of later sending you push notifications to your device via their platform.

News (newsletter)

We use the Mailerlite provider to send newsletters, where the following data is stored: email address, first and last name, company or institution name. This secondary list (data) is stored with the Mailerlite provider so that we can send newsletters.

Forwarding to third parties

With the exception described under Push Messages and News, SRC does not forward the collected data outside the application server and does not forward it to any third parties.

Data retention

The database (with the exception of points 2.2.1 and 2.2.2.) is located on our server, which is also physically located at the headquarters of SRC.

No data is sent from the server through the dedicated application for managing this database, except for the aforementioned social network query (point 2.2.) and integration with providers (point 2.3). Your email address is not transmitted outside the application server and we will not forward it to any third parties. The only data sent from the application server is related to updates to the dedicated application (PHP server version, dedicated application version, version and type of our database, version and type of operating system of our server).

We will store your data for the period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer storage period is necessary or permitted by law.

We protect your data against loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation or unauthorized access in accordance with professional rules.
